I was born and grew up in Bombay and discovered my love for exploring places right after my graduation in 2015. I have explored more than 40 cities in India so far and started taking international solo trips in 2019. I visited Japan and Armenia in 2019 and 2022, respectively.

Currently, I am privileged to travel internationally to improve my interpersonal skills, and expand my understanding of the world. Travel helps me keep my emotions in check, especially my ego, and it helps me learn about other cultures and overcome my biases towards people.

Where is Lebanon located? and How did Lebanon make it onto Kalpesh's list? and How did he choose a country to travel to?

Day 1: The Arrival

Kalpesh travels to Lebanon amidst economic and political instability but finds the country beautiful and the people friendly. He shares travel tips and his experience of the journey.

Day 2: Meet Claudia

Kalpesh wakes up early, enjoys a delicious breakfast, and decides to visit Jeita Grotto, Jounieh, Harissa, and Byblos. Along the way, he meets Claudia, a woman who has traveled to 125 countries.

Day 3: Beqaa Valley

Kalpesh visits the Roman Ruins in Baalbek and stops at the Caves De Ksara winery before reaching the ruins. During his journey, he passes several checkpoints and sees posters of military personnel and political leaders.

Day 4: Hot Wine

An Indian solo traveler and a Colombian solo traveler are enjoying Christmas together in a small town in Lebanon. They are drinking hot wine and savoring the festive atmosphere.

Day 5: The Lunch

Kalpesh was invited to have lunch with a local family. He received help from a Syrian riding a two-wheeler, a Lebanese uncle who stopped a van to assist him in reaching Batroun, and Lebanon Post personnel who showed him the way to his Airbnb.

Day 6: The Blood and Tanks

Kalpesh's day starts off with an accident; the glass door in his bathroom falls on him. Although he sustains minor injuries, he decides to travel to Tripoli despite being warned of violence.

Day 7: The Last Evening

On the last evening in beautiful Lebanon, Kalpesh spent their time buying souvenirs and postcards for his friends in India. They also took a pleasant walk on the streets of the Hamra neighborhood before parting ways for good.

Day 8: The Departure

Before the story ends, Kalpesh catches a glimpse of Beirut from the air. Kalpesh is in awe of the city's beauty as he sees the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the towering buildings.
